The 3 Best Builds of the Witch Doctor in Season 27
- A-Tier: Zunimassa Poison Dart (via maxroll.gg): Together with the Arachyr Spider build, Zunimassa falls back into the A-tier. In Season 26, both were still stronger. With the Zuni set, you have a high range and strong pets that support you. You deal a lot of damage to single targets. However, you also take a lot of damage with the build, so you have to be careful. In addition, there is little AOE damage. As a Holy Power, you use the improved Horror.
- A-Tier: Mundunugu Spirit Barrage (via maxroll.gg) – The Mundunugu build has been popular for several seasons in Diablo 3. The unique playstyle is the argument for many Witch Doctors who push GRs with it. The mechanics are quite complex and need to be internalized first, but afterwards, you can look forward to massive AoE damage and many explosions. The only right Holy Power is the Improved Haunting.
- B-Tier: Helltooth with Gargantuan (via maxroll.gg): As a starter set in Season 27, the Witch Doctor receives the Helltooth Armor. This makes builds with the Gargantuan or Zombie Bears feasible. The Gargantuan build is easy to play as you have little to press. Here, the strong pet class shows its strength. However, you move quite slowly, must rely on your pets, and have little AOE damage. With the Holy Gargantuan, you’ll get quite a bit out of this build.
