Support Barbarian (zBarb) Build in Season 9 of Diablo 3
There are many different ways to play the Support Barbarian. Depending on the group composition, there are various skills that are more suitable than others. As explained, a zBarb does not deal damage but supports the group. Here we show you the basic build of a zBarb with Raekor’s set.
- One of the most important skills is “Suspend Pain” with the rune “One for All“. When this skill is active, your group becomes immune to CC effects, such as Knockback. Because this skill is so strong, it should be active most of the time, which you achieve through a lot of Cooldown Reduction on items.
- The Battle Cry is another important skill that you can adjust with runes depending on the group composition.
- You use the Spear of the Ancients to group enemies together, so your DPS classes can hit many enemies with area damage. In combination with the Trauma Rune, this skill is particularly effective.
- You use the Intimidating Shout to weaken enemies. With the Frighten Rune, the enemies also take more damage.
- After distributing your buffs and debuffs, you attack enemies with Strike. The Offensive Rune makes them more vulnerable to critical damage.
- With Furious Charge and the Frigid Rune, you can prevent enemies from attacking your group by freezing them.
- Most important Stats: Cooldown Reduction > Attack Speed > Resource Cost Reduction > Critical Hit Chance
