In Season 9 of Diablo 3, there are cosmetic rewards, new companions, and more content for you.
New rewards and achievements await you in the new season of Diablo 3. Season 9 starts in January, where you can start over with your seasonal characters. New cosmetic items, companions, altered goals of the season journey, and new content from Haedrig’s Gift provide variety.
Cosmetic Rewards of Season 9
While you play your seasonal characters, you can complete goals of the season journey to unlock rewards. In Season 9, there are cosmetic rewards for you as well. The exclusive Conqueror set includes gloves and a chest piece. Additionally, there are new portraits.
A new companion named Rocky accompanies you on your adventures and collects gold for you along the way.
Unlocking Stash Tabs with the Season Journey
You can unlock additional stash tabs by completing tasks from the season journey. You must complete the following tasks to unlock another tab:
Complete a Nephalem Rift on Torment XIII difficulty in under 5 minutes
Complete a Greater Nephalem Rift level 60 Solo
Kill Greed on Torment XIII difficulty
Kill the Skeleton King on Torment XIII difficulty in under 30 seconds
Reforge a legendary or set item
Upgrade an ancient item with a legendary gem of 50 or higher
Upgrade three legendary gems to level 55
Complete two achievements
The season-specific achievements for Season 9 are:
Runner – Complete Acts I to V on maximum level in under one hour.
Speed Demon – Complete Acts I to V on maximum level in Hardcore mode in under one hour.
Speed Demon – Complete a Nephalem Rift at Torment VI difficulty with a character at maximum level in under 2 minutes.
Sleek – Complete a Nephalem Rift in Hardcore mode at Torment VI difficulty with a character at maximum level in under 2 minutes.
Greed – Complete a 50,000,000 gold streak outside of the treasure realm and central vault.
Gold Rush – Complete a 50,000,000 gold streak outside of the treasure realm and central vault in Hardcore mode.
Cursed and Sewn – Kill 300 or more monsters at maximum level during a cursed chest event at Torment VI difficulty.
Wouldn’t you know it? – Kill 300 or more monsters at maximum level during a cursed chest event at Torment VI difficulty in Hardcore mode.
Otherwise it would be too easy – Achieve a Greater Nephalem Rift level 45 without your hero equipping set items.
Superhuman – Achieve a Greater Nephalem Rift level 45 in Hardcore mode without your hero equipping set items.
Haedrig’s Gift in Season 9 of Diablo 3
By completing certain step goals of the season journey, you receive set pieces as gifts. Each gift contains some pieces of your class set. You receive Haedrig’s Gifts for reaching stage two, three, and four.
With these gifts, you receive one class set per season. The contents of the gift depend on which class you open the gifts with. So think carefully about which character you want the set for. In Season 9, there are the following starter sets for you:
