In Diablo 3, the current Season 7 will end this Friday and Season 8 will follow soon after. So far, there hasn’t even been a PTR patch for the eighth season.
Diablo 3 ends the seventh season of the action RPG on October 14. So far, so good, but Season 8 starts just a week later, on October 21. This is unusually quick for Blizzard, as the developers usually take at least two weeks between the end and start of a season.
Rewards for Season 7
Also unusual: There has not yet been a patch for the eighth season on the PTR of Diablo 3. Therefore, one can assume that there will be few innovations and changes this time, and thus no long testing times are needed.
As is customary in Diablo, your seasonal characters will be converted to normal heroes between seasons, and your corresponding resources (Paragon experience points, blood shards, gold, etc.) will also be transferred. By the way, don’t forget to check your mailbox, as if there is no more space for your items, they will be sent to you via mail, and these mail messages will disappear irretrievably after 30 days.
