In the hack and slash Diablo 3, Blizzard has now presented the hefty loot from the upcoming Patch 2.4.
In the first 2 weeks of 2016, the Patch 2.4 is expected, and on January 15, Season 5 will begin. There has been a lot of talk about it lately: The new Zone Grautiefeninsel has been presented, which Set Dungeons as a new idea are introduced. What really drives the average Diablo 3 fan is the items. The rewards that are new – those interest him the most.
This is what Blizzard’s latest entry on their Diablo blog is about. Players could look forward to the following:
50 new legendary items coming with Season 5 to Diablo 3
They have revamped several class sets, expanding some from 4 to 6 pieces like the Thorns of the Invoker or the Shadow Mantle
Other sets that were hardly used have been strengthened like Akkhan’s Armor or Firebird’s Finery
There are new legendary items, over 50!, and existing ones have been revised again
And with the Legacy of Nightmares, there’s a new exciting set without a set.
Reward Class Set instead of Season Specific Items
Regarding the rewards, they also thought: Instead of creating seasonal-specific legendary items, we prefer to give players a class set directly (featured image). These sets are obtained through Haedrig’s Gift as a reward for a seasonal journey, that is, when players reach and check off various milestones within a season.
Those who complete Chapter 4 of their seasonal journey are guaranteed to receive a full six-piece set of their class.
But be careful: Don’t be too greedy. The set adapts to the level and class at the moment you open it. So it’s better to wait for max level.

Additionally, with 2.4 and Season 5, there will also be a unique companion and portrait frame.
