With the new Season 14, a new concept starts in Diablo 3: Season themes. And this time you will be rewarded with many Goblins.
In a few days, Season 14 will start in Diablo III. A special Goblin theme provides more incentive to participate in the season. All treasure goblins you encounter in S14 will appear in pairs. Double loot for you!
Double Goblins in Season 14 of Diablo 3
To create more fun in seasons, Blizzard has come up with “themes” for Diablo 3. The upcoming season rewards you with the fact that every time you encounter a treasure goblin, you will also find an exact copy of it. Okay, not every time. Blizzard makes exceptions:
- Goblins encountered through a Bandit Shrine, Goblin “Portal” packages, or in the Realm of Greed do not appear twice.
- Duplicated portals of the Rainbow Goblin after Bad Niederfunkeln lead to the same instance of Bad Niederfunkeln – there won’t suddenly be two different portals.
Cosmetic Rewards in Season 14
As usual, you will also receive new cosmetic rewards in Season 14. These include boots and pants from the Conqueror set. Additionally, there are portrait frames in the style of Tal Rasha and a new flag.
Haedrig’s Gift in Season 14 of Diablo 3
In every season of Diablo 3, the start is eased by Haedrig’s Gift. If you complete certain tasks of the season journey, you will receive gifts containing parts of a class set.
You can receive a complete class set per season at most. The parts included depend on which class you open the gifts with. The following sets are available in Season 14:
- Barbarian – Raekor’s Legacy
- Crusader – Akkhan’s Armor
- Demon Hunter – Marauder’s Gear
- Monk – Inna’s Mantra
- Necromancer – Pestilence Robe
- Witch Doctor – Zunimassa’s Marrow
- Wizard – Delsere’s Magnum Opus
Chest Slots and Achievements
If you achieve the title “Conqueror” during a season, you will unlock additional loot chest slots. Overall, you can unlock four more slots this way. To do so, you need to complete the following tasks of the Conqueror stage:
- Complete a Nephalem Rift of level 70 on Torment XIII in under 5 minutes
- Complete a Greater Nephalem Rift of level 60 (Solo)
- Kill Greed on Torment XIII
- Kill the Butcher of level 70 on Torment XIII in under 30 seconds
- Reforge a legendary or set item
- Upgrade an ancient item with a legendary gem of level 50 or higher
- Rank up three legendary gems to level 55
- Complete two achievements
Special Achievements in Season 14
The achievements of the season have rotated again. This time there are:
- Greed
- Gold Fever (Hardcore)
- Speed Demon
- Sleek (Hardcore)
- Mineral Collection
- I gotta catch ’em all (Hardcore)
- Simply Divine
- Heart of a Lion (Hardcore)
- Portal Mania
- Dynasty (Hardcore)
