Season 11 in Diablo 3 (PS4, PC, Xbox One) attracts many players again to compete against each other on the leaderboard. We show you what you need to know for Season 11.
At the start of a new season in Diablo III, interest in the hack and slash title is particularly high. Anyone can participate in a season, but they must create a new character for that. Paragon level, gold, equipment – nothing from the previous seasons is available, you start anew.
This race is fun and invites competition with other players on the leaderboards. We provide you with the key information for Season 11 in Diablo 3.
Starting a Season – How to Participate in a Diablo 3 Season
To participate in a season in Diablo 3, you need a special character. So you create a new character and select the category “Seasonal Hero” during the creation process. Only if this option is activated can you participate in a season with this hero.
A seasonal character only has access for one season. At the end of a season (which usually lasts about 3 months), these characters are then converted to non-seasonal characters.
Then all gold, paragon levels, blood shards, items, and artisan levels are transferred to the non-seasonal heroes.
Reincarnation in Diablo 3
If you have grown particularly fond of your seasonal character, you can use it again in the next seasons. However, the hero will be completely reset and will only keep its name from the last season.
For a reincarnation, you select a hero from your character overview and click “Reincarnation” on the right side of the screen. A warning will then appear, informing you of the consequences.
Finding Kanai’s Cube
A cool and important feature in Diablo 3 is Kanai’s Cube. This allows you to extract legendary properties from gear and add them to your character. For example, you can extract the legendary property of the Ring of Royal Grandeur and receive its benefit of set item reduction even if you do not wear the ring.

Season Journey and Stages in Season 11
The Season Journey presents you with various tasks during the seasons in Diablo 3. If you complete these, you will be rewarded with stash tabs or sets, for example.
For reaching stages 2, 3, and 4 of the Season Journey, you will receive one of Haedrig’s gifts. It contains several pieces of one of the class sets. It is important which class you open the gift with. If you open it with a wizard, it contains parts of a specific wizard set; if you open it with a monk, it contains parts of a monk set.
The sets included change with each season. In Season 11, the following class sets are available from Haedrig’s gift:
- Barbarian – Wrath of the Wastes
- Crusader – Roland’s Legacy
- Demon Hunter – Unhallowed Essence
- Monk – Raiment of a Thousand Storms
- Necromancer – Rathma’s Bones
- Witch Doctor – Helltooth Harness
- Wizard – Tal Rasha’s Elements
The individual stages of the Season Journey are displayed in the game. You have an icon above the minimap that brings up an overview of the goals to be achieved.
