A new season in Diablo means that everything is reset to zero. At the same time, you have the chance to secure a place in the top positions of the leaderboard, into which only the best players can enter.
With a new patch, set items, legendary items, and characters are strengthened or weakened. This regularly changes the leaderboard of the strongest builds and classes in Diablo 3. For the current Season 10, we show you here the best builds and classes that give you the best chances in Greater Nephalem Rifts.
What does the builds and classes tier list depend on?
The tier list we present to you was created by Diablo 3 expert Rhykker. It is based on data he has evaluated from the NA, EU, Asia, PTR, Season, and non-Season leaderboards. Some builds and classes stood out as being significantly stronger than others.
It is important to note that no combination of class and build is considered “bad” in this tier list. It is about comparing which combination can complete higher Greater Nephalem Rifts. There is a difference of 15 Greater Rift levels between “Tier F” and “Tier S”. This does not mean that builds from F-Tier should not be played, but rather that they are the “worst of the best builds”.
All these combinations of skills and equipment (builds) can easily reach level 70 in the Greater Rifts, thereby unlocking archaic items that can significantly improve your equipment. To keep this list from becoming endlessly long, some builds that might be just below F-Tier are not included.
Order:
S-Tier: The best solo GR builds – Considered by many as OP builds in Diablo 3
A-Tier: Five GR levels behind S-Tier
B-Tier: Seven GR levels behind S-Tier
C-Tier: Ten GR levels behind S-Tier
D-Tier: Twelve GR levels behind S-Tier
F-Tier: 15 GR levels behind S-Tier
Note: You will often find the term “LON” in the tier list. LON stands for Legacy of Nightmare – This is the English name of the set bonus Legacy of Nightmares. This set bonus is available with the rings The Wailing Host and Litany of the Undaunted. “As long as this is your only set bonus, every equipped ancient item increases your damage by 100% and reduces the damage you take by 4%.”

F-Tier Builds Diablo 3 Season 10
Uliana’s Monk: The Uliana build for the Monk is still strong but cannot keep up with the other sets of this class. If you only have the Uliana set, you can play well with it, but you will be better off with other sets like Sun-Wuko. Here is the Uliana build on Icy-Veins.com
SunWuko’s Monk: This build is a weaker alternative to the LON Monk that you can use to farm the items for the LON-LTK-Monk. Parts of the equipment are used in both builds and reduce the time you need for farming. There are several playstyles for the SunWuko set, such as the Wave of Light build which has advantages in speedruns. The set is therefore not “bad” but is overshadowed by other sets when it comes to clearing Greater Rifts. Here is the SunWuko Lashing Tailkick build on Icy-Veins.com
LON-Thorns Barbarian: The LON builds are particularly difficult to farm because you need the right ancient items with optimal stats. If this LON build is not stronger than other builds where you do not have to farm these optimal ancient items, it is not worth the effort. Although this mentioned build does not deal significantly less damage, it is much harder to assemble, which is why it landed in F-Tier. Here is the LON-Thorns build on Icy-Veins.com
D-Tier Builds Diablo 3 Season 10
Invoker-Thorns Crusader: With this build, you get one step closer to the LON-Thorns Crusader. The Invoker-Thorns build is not bad, but it is overshadowed by the top builds. Here is the Invoker-Thorns build on Icy-Veins.com
Roland’s Crusader: In Patch 2.5.0, the Roland set received a buff and thus an increase in damage. Therefore, this build is roughly on par with the Invoker build – Maybe even slightly better. But as mentioned before: The Crusader has significantly better builds that cannot compete with these. Here is Roland’s build with Sweep Attack on Icy-Veins.com
Leapquake Barbarian: This build was still in F-Tier before Patch 2.5.0, but it rose to D-Tier due to a buff. It is among the strongest Barbarian builds, although they all lie in D-Tier (Sorry, dear Barbarian friends). Here is the Leapquake build on Icy-Veins.com
Jade Witch Doctor: Due to the recently activated changes to monster density in Greater Rifts, this build received an indirect buff. Nevertheless, it remains behind the Fire Bat build. Here is the Jade build on Icy-Veins.com
Helltooth Gigantuan Witch Doctor: The Helltooth Gigantuan Doctor was up until a few patches ago the strongest version of this class. The increased monster density, however, allowed other builds to benefit much more significantly, which is why this one is only in D-Tier. Here is the Helltooth Gigantuan build on Icy-Veins.com
Charge Barbarian: The Barbarian build that combines the Raekor and Immortal King sets was once one of the strongest. However, the change in monster density made another build even stronger than this one. Here is the Charge build on Icy-Veins.com
Whirlwind Barbarian: This is currently the strongest build of the Barbarian class. The fact that this one is in D-Tier does not reflect well on the Barbarian. This class could certainly use more love from the developers. Nevertheless, the Whirlwind benefits significantly from the increased monster density. Here is the Whirlwind Barbarian on Icy-Veins.com

C-Tier Builds in Diablo 3 Season 10
Inna’s EP Monk: The Inna set was buffed in Patch 2.5.0 and now causes 25% more damage than before. Due to this buff, the build has been promoted from D-Tier to C-Tier. The advantage of this set is that Inna is the starter set for Monks and can quickly be in your inventory. This set is used as a foundation for many good solo builds and is needed for the role of support monk in the group. Here is the Inna EP build on Icy-Veins.com
Zunimassa’s Fire Bat Witch Doctor: Originally, this build stood in the F-Tier category, but it was later raised a few tiers. Youtuber Anthony Evans found during testing that the Zunimassa set is also playable with Fire Bats, thus pushing the set a bit. Nevertheless, this set is not the best for the Witch Doctor. A video explaining the build can be found here on Youtube
LON-LTK Monk: A strong build for Monk fans that remains average overall. The reason is the LON variant, which makes farming the equipment possible only with a lot of time investment. Here is the LTK build with LON or Sunwuko on Icy-Veins.com
Marauder Grenade Demon Hunter: The buff of the Marauder set made this build one of the strongest for the DH. It is about two GR levels behind the best DH build and has the advantage that the DH starts with the Marauder set. The base equipment is therefore quickly in the inventory if you use Haedrig’s gift for the DH. The Marauder Grenade build is explained here on Youtube
Shadow Impale Demon Hunter: The changes in Patch 2.5.0 have been particularly beneficial for this set, as it now deals triple damage. You can also use this build in a group when you are deployed as a DD as a Rift Guardian Killer. Advantages include mobility and high toughness, allowing you to move through monster groups and not die as a glass cannon from every hit. The Ninja Impale build is explained here on Youtube.
Fire Bat Witch Doctor: This is the best Witch Doctor build for solo Greater Rifts. You have two options with different advantages: The Helltooth variant gives you more toughness and the Arachyr variant gives you more damage. You use Arachyr for group play (your allies keep you alive). To take on large groups of enemies, the Fire Bat build is probably the best build in Diablo 3. Here is the Fire Bat build on Icy-Veins.com

B-Tier Builds in Diablo 3 Season 10
LON-Daggers Demon Hunter: For a long time, this build was one of the best for the Demon Hunter. As mentioned, it is hard to farm your gear for a LON Build. However, once you have the items in your inventory, you can unleash the full power. Here is the LON-Daggers build on Icy-Veins.com
Inna Gen Monk: Until Patch 2.5.0, this build lagged far behind the Raiment Generator build for the Monk. Due to recent buffs, the Inna set can keep up again and is now only 2-3 GR levels behind the Raiment-Gen build. The Inna Generator Monk is explained here on Youtube
Unholy Essence with Grenade Demon Hunter: The grenade build with the UE set is the best build of the Demon Hunter. It has long been considered one of the best speed farming combinations for the Demon Hunter and has now become relevant for Greater Rifts due to the addition of grenades. The UE Grenade build is explained here on Youtube
A-Tier Builds in Diablo 3 Season 10
LON Bombardment Crusader: This Thorns build was for a while the best Crusader build in Diablo 3.Currently, it is only ranked second. As a LON build, it is again difficult to obtain the necessary gear before you can effectively utilize the combination. Here is the endgame Bombardment build on Icy-Veins.com
Raiment Duo-Gen Monk: This build is the best Monk build in Diablo 3. The generator builds of the Monk have been strong for some time, but the duo version is even stronger. It works better with the second spirit generator “somewhat” than the simple gen build and is therefore a few GR levels ahead of the Inna’s Gen build. You can find the basic setup of the Raiment-Gen Monk here on Icy-Veins.com – You need to replace the Cyclone Strike with the Way of the Hundred Fists with the Assimilation rune.
Hammerdin Crusader: The “Hammerdin” is the best build for the Crusader class. With this equipment and skill set, you have a high damage output that can bring you to the top rankings of the leaderboard. In this Youtube video, the Hammerdin build is explained to you
Lightning Archon Wizard: As an Archon Wizard with lightning damage, you have combined the best wizard build and the best solo build of Diablo 3. Although there was a slight nerf for this build in Patch 2.5.0, the Hydra variant compensates for this nerf.
A guide for the best solo build in Diablo 3, the Lightning Hydra build, can be seen in the following video:
Diablo 3 is an action RPG by Blizzard Entertainment. As a hack 'n' slash, you slay monsters in seconds with the aim of obtaining better items. The maximum level...
