With the release of patch 2.6.1a, Blizzard has updated the Xbox One and PS4 versions of their action RPG Diablo 3 to match the PC version of the game.
After the release of Diablo 3 on consoles was delayed by more than two years, the patches always lagged slightly behind the PC version.

However, with the latest patch 2.6.1a, Blizzard has closed that gap.
PC and Consoles on the Same Level
With the update, console players will have access to the same content as the PC version.
What are the contents of the patch?
- StarCraft II Pet: to celebrate the 20th anniversary, all players will receive a StarCraft pet once they log into the updated game.
- Various bug fixes for the Season Journey

Whether the console and PC versions will remain in sync from now on has not been revealed by Blizzard.
