In the hack and slash Diablo 3 , the new feature, Kanai’s Cube, is causing players some gray hairs. We reveal some tips and tricks.
Yesterday, the new patch 2.3.0. for Diablo 3 was released for consoles and PC. The most important new feature is “Kanai’s Cube.”
When players log in, they are sent on a quest. This leads to Act III, where in the top right of the Ruins of Sescheron, there is a new area at the end of which “Kanai’s Cube” awaits. Once you have it, 7 recipes become available. For each one, items must be placed in the cube, then you press the “Transmute” button and something happens.
Blizzard has already extensively introduced Kanai’s Cube. However, players of Diablo are still missing important information.
The most important thing is: The “Ancient” property is NOT “protected.” If you put ancient items in, expect that “normal” items will come out on the other end. This is really important. Don’t put in “ancient items” and expect to get something better out.
Our friend IllaChilla shows you how to access the cube and how to use it.
As you can see, it’s always about putting materials directly into the cube.
With the cube, you can reforge Legendaries, as if they were “dropped new.” Set pieces can be transformed into other pieces of the same set. You can remove the level restriction, convert rare items into legendary ones.
The most important function is “Tal Rasha’s Archive.” With this, players can destroy legendary items and extract a property, which then unlocks a slot in a “catalog” of properties. You access this catalog by clicking on one of the 3 symbols directly below the cube.
These properties from the catalog can then be activated, granting 3 bonuses, one for weapons, armor, and rings. Definitely the most interesting property of the cube.
