Devilian receives a major update in which you can attempt a new dungeon and a big raid. The raid takes place in a cursed pyramid featuring a mad Pharaoh at the end.
Devilian is a fantasy action MMORPG. It was released in Europe at the end of 2015 and has pretty much vanished from the radar in recent months. It falls into the “hack-and-slash meets MMO” category, which is gaining momentum in the coming months and years with titles like Mu Legend, Lineage Eternal, or Lost Ark.
There is now new content for Devilian.
“Look upon my works, ye Mighty, and despair!” This line from the poem Ozymandias refers to another Pharaoh but could also apply to the pyramid of Totames in the new Devilian raid “The Forbidden Sanctuary”. The action MMORPG Devilian from Trion receives two new instances, the “Forbidden Sanctuary” as a raid and a challenging dungeon called “Dimensional Fortress”.
Devilian – Into the Nightmare
The nightmare is not just a raid in World of Warcraft, but also a boss in the new dungeon instance “Dimensional Fortress” in Devilian. This short but action-packed instance can be attempted twice a day, where you face four mini-bosses. If you take them down quickly enough, you will gain valuable buffs to help you in the fight against the final boss – provided you don’t die along the way. If you do, the buff is unfortunately gone.
At the end awaits the nightmare itself or one of three other bosses named Galoken, Dekaramieh, or Avarix. You can enter the dungeon via the Transcendence Stone in Asperon or choose the Dimensional Fortress through the dungeon finder. However, you should be at least level 58 and have a gear score of 1140 before you take on the bosses.
Rob the Pharaoh
Deep in a desert wasteland lies the pyramid of the cursed Pharaoh Totames. This grim structure is full of treasures, but it is guarded by monsters, the Pharaoh’s servants, and the undead ruler himself. Those who want to steal the Pharaoh’s treasures should head out with seven players at level 58 and a gear score of 1146, as the “Forbidden Sanctuary” is a raid.
You will face seven bosses before facing the Pharaoh Totames himself. According to the developers, he is said to be particularly tough and will challenge all your skills. Therefore, the developers also ask for feedback on the final battle in the Devilian forum.
