Devilian receives mega servers and loosens PvP restrictions

The latest letter from the producer to the players of Devilian reveals what will change in the coming weeks. Changes to PvP are planned to reduce waiting times, along with new spring events and the introduction of megaservers.

Megaservers in Devilian – Servers will be merged as soon as possible

One of the biggest changes coming to players in the next few weeks and months is the introduction of megaservers. The existing servers will be merged, creating only one server for America and one for Europe. As is typical for servers of this kind, they can fluidly open new channels and instances as soon as the population in a specific area becomes too large.

There is no specific date for this yet, but efforts are being made to have the megaservers introduced “before the next increase in the level cap.” At the same time, it is emphasized that the transfer will only be undertaken when it is certain that there will be no complications and that the players’ character data is completely safe. There is still a lot of work “behind the scenes” that must be completed first.

PvP in Devilian – Less choice, earlier access

The current PvP in Devilian is still somewhat unsatisfactory. There are long waiting times as players are split into different groups depending on which PvP content they are actually interested in. To reduce this, there will be a change to the 6vs6 map “Depraved Temple”. This will become a weekly event and it will no longer be possible to queue up through the waiting list.

At the same time, the requirement to participate in the 20vs20 battles has been lowered, allowing players to join starting at level 25. Since characters with a low level are boosted in PvP, there should be no worries about being helplessly outmatched.

Spring Events and Demonic Imps

In spring, a new event is set to unfold that continues the love story between Antwan and Belle. Those who agree to help Antwan with his romantic troubles will be rewarded with special costumes – from revealing to silly, there should be something for everyone.

Also new is the ability to combine pet skills at will, allowing players to quickly create their favorite companion. It is supposed to be very easy, but will also be explained in a preview video.

Finally, the demonic imps that can appear all over the world are mentioned. These little monsters carry a lot of gold and items, but players only have a few seconds to defeat them. If they fail, they explode and take all the valuable loot with them to the afterlife – quick action is required.
