The developers of Where Winds Meet have addressed the most pressing questions from the community in a new video. MeinMMO summarizes the key insights for you.
What do the developers reveal? A few days before the mobile launch of Where Winds Meet, the developers answered the – in their view – most urgent questions from the community on YouTube. Below, we summarize the most important findings from the Q&A:
- The criticism regarding the localization of the game has reached the devs. A number of improvements are currently in progress and are set to come to the game soon – including a much clearer, error-free description of the puzzles.
- The team also aims to minimize crashes on the PlayStation 5 as quickly as possible. Additionally, an update on December 12, 2025, will eliminate the occasional frame rate drops on PS5 and blurry textures, and provide HDR and PSSR support. Subsequent updates are planned to bring further optimizations.
- The mobile version of Where Winds Meet will also launch with a free-to-play payment model and offers cross-progression with PC and PS5.
- The developers promise that the mobile version will provide comparable graphic quality to the versions on PC and console. Mobile devices will also feature special options for customizing the user interface, allowing adjustments to the size, transparency, or position of icons.
- The pre-download for the mobile version starts on December 11, 2025.
- For future updates, Steam Deck support, times according to respective time zones, improved social and cross-regional features, as well as audio enhancements are planned. Regarding the major features set to come this year, there has only been an updated roadmap.
