The Twitch streamer Rachell “Valkyrae” Hofstetter did such a good imitation of a seagull that she was added to a game.
Who is it about? The Twitch streamer Valkyrae was streaming the game Among Us on Twitch when she noticed that a developer from an indie game was in her Twitch chat. The developer was from CayPlay, an indie studio that released the game Waterpark Simulator on August 22, 2025.
Valkyrae said she wanted to convince him with her seagull noises so that she would be added to the game. The developer agreed and Valkyrae spent the next 10 minutes imitating a seagull. You can watch the clip on clips.twitch.tv.

Valkyrae’s performance apparently went down so well with both the developer and the head of CayPlay Studios that they confirmed they would add the Twitch streamer in the next update. On X, the head of the developer studio wrote: “You are hired, Valkyrae! Give us a few days.”
Developer adds more streamers: The Twitch streamer Case “CaseOh” Baker also has an appearance in Waterpark Simulator. The character Queso was based on the appearance of the Twitch streamer and even has some voice lines from him that he occasionally says.
CaseOh played Waterpark Simulator when he “met himself” in the game and seemed very surprised. Travis, the head of CayPlay, reacted to this and wrote on X that the developer studio had the idea to add him over a year ago.
Adding Twitch streamers to their game can provide additional marketing for the game. The game Fortnite has been collaborating with content creators for years to include them in their game.
