This immediately sparked speculation that he must have had that one weapon whose name we can’t remember right now, and it was snatched from his paws in the last seconds. Sneaky!
No weapon in Xur’s inventory, not even a substitute or something. Bungie’s night was disturbingly disrupted. “Just look at this,” was tweeted electronically, until eventually it was tweeted again: “Well, it is what it is.”
Guardians then, as they always do, demanded a balance: “Then give him two weapons next week! Or … You know which ones! He should bring those!” Bungie held up the “No comment” sign that we have come to know well.
In any case, we can expect an interesting Xur today. Will Bungie do anything to compensate for last week’s absence? What does Xur have for sale? What does he have?
The exotic sniper rifle Patience and Time, he wants 17 strange coins for it.
For Warlocks, the DLC-I chest armor Starfire Protocol (weak 126/133). It costs 13 strange coins, like all armor pieces.
For Titans, there is the Helm of St. 14 (rather weak 133/140), also a chest piece.
For Hunters, there’s Ahamkara’s Spine (decent 103/108), which surprisingly are gloves.
