In the MMO shooter Destiny comes on Friday, September 25th, Xur and offers his exotic goods. And above all the “Three of Coins.”
Last week, when Xur first appeared with a new sales philosophy in the Tower, players were initially somewhat disappointed: No weapon included, instead an Engram. However, the disappointment quickly subsided and made way for an Engram rain when it turned out, how the “Three of Coins”, a new consumable item, could be effectively used.
Because the Three of Coins increases the chance of exotic loot from an Ultra. Originally, the coins were intended for use on Strike bosses. However, many players use them to kill a mission boss (the gentleman on the right) in extremely rapid succession to farm exotic Engrams.

This method was banned by Bungie through a hotfix yesterday. Now, rapid consecutive Ultra kills with the Three of Coins no longer yield the desired reward. They want players to use the “Three of Coins” for Strike bosses. How this will affect the game exactly is still unknown at the moment. The fix is only a few hours old; we will see.
Everything about Xur in Destiny on September 25th, 26th, and 27th.
When does Xur come and when does he leave?
Xur comes on Friday, September 25th, at 11:00 AM in the Tower or the Reef. He will stay there for 48 hours. He leaves the world of Destiny again on Sunday, September 27th, at 11:00 AM.
Where is Xur?
Xur is in the Tower, in the Hangar.
What do the numbers in parentheses behind the armor pieces mean?
These are the values in Strength, Intellect, or Discipline that this particular armor piece can achieve.
What does Xur have in armor, weapons, and Engrams on September 25th?
Xur is selling this week as a weapon, the Fate of the Stars. The former PlayStation-exclusive hand cannon is likely still missing for many Xbox players, but also some unfortunate PlayStation players. This is the first time Xur sells it. The Fate of the Stars costs 23 strange coins.

For Titans, he has the gloves Ruined Wings (32/45 INT, 24/41 STR) with him. The armor pieces cost 13 strange coins.

For Warlocks, he sells the helm Light Behind Nemesis (60/75 INT).

For Hunters, the sealed Ahamkara grips (57/70 STR) are brand new gloves.
Xur also sells a Legacy Engram. Only “old” Exotics with old values come out of it. The Engram costs 31 strange coins.
There is NO “new” Engram that could yield Year 2 Exotics with the new values.
