In the MMO shooter Destiny , the weekly Nightfall strike is not available on Tuesday, May 19th. It is locked. The same goes for numerous other activities.
At this point, we normally present the weekly Nightfall strike in Destiny, tell you which strike it is, what modifiers are active, link you videos on how to best tackle the Nightfall. That would be somewhat pointless at this point, as the weekly Nightfall strike is locked until this evening.
Yes, even more: Between now and this evening on May 19th, Destiny is in a sort of transition phase. The game will not function as usual during this time, but only with some limitations.
The No Man’s Hours in Destiny
Bungie announced this officially yesterday. It states:
In the eight hours between 11:00 AM and 7:00 PM, some activities will be locked, including the weekly Nightfall strike, the weekly heroic strike, the daily story mission, and certain crucible playlists. The rest of the game will be accessible.
At some point after 7:00 PM German time, “House of Wolves” is expected to go live. This works in such a way that the patch 1.2.0.1 that was deployed yesterday will simply “go live.” All changes will take effect, and thus “House of Wolves” and also the activities that have been locked until then can be tackled.
