In the MMO shooter Destiny, as part of the April update, the reputation gains from specific activities will be increased. Moreover, we will take a look at the potential content of the reputation packages.
In Destiny, Guardians can increase their reputation with people and factions by completing specific activities and thus gain reputation. If you achieve higher reputation ranks, you will be recognized with reward packages. According to DeeJ, these packages will be “great sources of increased power” with the April update.
Activities grant more reputation
Senior Designer Victoria Dollbaum goes into detail about how the reputation system will change with the upcoming update.
- She emphasizes that the Guardians’ time is precious, which is why they will gain more reputation through the activities they enjoy.
- Furthermore, she has heard that some collectors have not been able to obtain the items they desired. Adjustments will be made for this.
- With Sterling Treasures, Guardians can receive reputation boosters. However, Dollbaum assures that these are not the only source for reputation boosters.

Unfortunately, there isn’t a nice picture for this, but it’s extremely important: the Sterling Treasure. You can either buy it for real money or earn 3 pieces a week: One is free, one for completing a Crucible match in the featured playlist, and one for a successful venture into the level 41 Prison of Elders. Here you can find, among other things, armor in the Taken look, in the Tron look, and the Chroma colorer. This will likely become a sought-after box in Destiny.
