In the MMO shooter Destiny, the Weekly Reset is today, on July 4th. New activities to complete include the Nightfall strike.
Today marks the time of farewell and “last times” in Destiny. For the sequel Destiny 2 is rapidly approaching the Guardians, and many activities will soon come to an end.
On this Tuesday at 11 AM, the Weekly Reset occurs. This week, you can play the Kingsfall Raid as the Featured Raid for the last time if you still need it for your record book. In the Triumphs record book, it is only possible to obtain the T-shirt and the highest rank until August 1st. From July 4th to July 11th, the Kingsfall Raid will be the Featured Raid for the last time before this deadline. Afterward, the raid will still be available as a Featured Raid, but it will no longer count towards the record book.
Additionally, the second to last Iron Banner ever in Destiny 1 begins today at 7 PM. However, if you still need Rank 5 in the Iron Banner for the record milestone, this week’s Iron Banner is your last chance.

Nightfall on July 4th on PS4 and Xbox One
This week, the Nightfall is the Nexus.
The modifiers are:
- Epic
- Specialist: Increased damage from special weapons
- Juggler: No ammo drops for the equipped weapon
- Chaff: Radar is disabled
- Shielded: More enemies carry shields
In the heroic SIVA Crisis Strike playlist, the modifiers are Heroic, Juggler, Airborne, Catapult.
Elder Challenge and Story Playlist
In the weekly story playlist, you will enter the missions of the Iron Lords. Modifiers are Heroic, Sidearms, and Puzzler.
In the Elder Challenge, you will receive bonus points for grenade kills. The modifiers are Chaff and Drizzle. You will fight against Noru’usk, the Overmind Minotaur and the Wretched Knight.
Raid Challenges starting July 4th
The Kingsfall Raid is next. This was the raid in Destiny where raid challenges were introduced for the very first time. Here you can learn how to defeat the Warpriest, Golgoroth, and Oryx himself to earn extra loot,.

Tyra Karn offers the artifacts Skorris’ Remembrance (33 Intellect, 31 Strength), Radegast’s Remembrance (34 Discipline, 35 Strength), and Gheleon’s Remembrance (69 Discipline).

The Future War Cult and the New Monarchy want Ghost Flowers.
The Dead Orbit demands Spinmetal.
Lord Shaxx has bounties for Supremacy and Control.
The Crucible Quartermaster has bounties for Hand Cannons, Scout Rifles, Sidearms, Sniper Rifles, and Heavy Weapons.
Commander Zavala offers you Strike Elite, Dawn, and Cleanup (150 enemy kills with the fire team).
