In the MMO shooter Destiny on Tuesday, September 29th, a new Nightfall Strike is in the rotation. We present the Undying Mind and provide tips.
Last week, some players rubbed their eyes: The Nightfall, the weekly Nightfall Strike, was really challenging. Since the new strikes hardly offer any opportunities for “Safespots” or cheating and many Guardians are still using transitional gear, it was quite a hairy affair.
Whereas last time a glitch actually occurred, which was not related to a safe spot like in the past: players bugged themselves through a clipping error under the ground.
Weekly Nightfall Strike on September 29th leads to the Undying Mind
Starting the week of September 29th, the strike “The Undying Mind” will be featured. This was the PlayStation-exclusive strike that came with “Darkness Awaits”; it is now also available to Xbox players and can therefore be a Nightfall. This is its debut as a Nightfall strike.
Modifiers are Solar Flare, Juggler, Catapult, and “Fresh Troops.”
- Solar Flare doubles the damage of Solar weapons (it used to be triple, and this still applies to the enemies)
- Juggler – Killed enemies do not drop ammunition for the weapon type that took them down.
- Catapult – Grenades are available faster
- Fresh Troops – Some enemy groups have reinforcements
How to defeat the T3 boss Balwûr at the Court of Oryx
The T3 boss at the Dreadnaught event “Court of Oryx” this week is Balwûr.
During the fight against her, the ground is filled with poison. A safe zone spawns. The trick is to move with the group into these safe zones, kill Acolytes to spawn more safe zones, and deal damage to Balwûr. Only in the safe zone can you deal damage to Balwûr and the Acolytes.
