In Destiny , Bungie has highlighted some community videos again. We at Mein MMO are adding our own favorites.
This week’s videos from Bungie are a bit thin (although they are quite heavy), so we thought we’d spice it up with your submissions and our own finds. But first, the ones from Bungie, here is the video of the week: landscape from Destiny with a voice-over by Carl Sagan, an astronomer, author, and cosmologist.
The late Sagan, who passed away nearly 20 years ago, was already pondering such themes that Destiny repeatedly addresses: humanity’s urge to explore, the curiosity about the unknown. Even if the images are beautiful, hopefully it doesn’t end for us in the future like it did in the past for our Guardians.
After so much philosophy, the second video from Bungie is noticeably more robust: pure Trials action. Never underestimate a boxer.
Our selection of videos is somehow quite trollish this time. Here someone is having fun on a Friday morning around 10 o’clock… just because you wear a funny mask doesn’t mean you’re immediately an NPC, right?
This Warlock is an enthusiastic technician and has invented a helmet that responds to the clap of a Titan! The light goes on!
A lot of effort and nonsense is also involved in this video: so to speak, a fever dream that lets the player wake up in an “other tower” where all dreams come true.
And the last video comes from you, our community, and tells its story all by itself. No trolling, but a successful comeback. Such stories are sometimes written by Destiny.
And as a little bonus video: someone is just having fun!
