Bungie reported last night with the latest information. Enough has been said about Rise of Iron, the launch trailer was the last ace up their sleeve. Now they want to talk less and listen more to the adventures of the Guardians.

Next week on Monday, just before Rise of Iron, two hotfixes: 2.4.0.1 and 2.4.0.2 are to be released. In these hotfixes, they aim to fix the “grain effect“, which has been bothering some Guardians since 2.4.0: a graphic bug.
Additionally, they want to resolve issues with revive timers, quest tracking, and volume.
There are still some other issues with 2.4.0 currently: The Warlock helm “THE STAG” is currently not obtainable from the blueprint collection, the Chroma Grimoire card is not available for new players, and “QUAIL” errors are appearing in private matches. Bungie has a complete list of “known issues with 2.4.0.
What time does Rise of Iron release exactly?
Rise of Iron is set to go live on September 20 at 11:00 AM our time.
Also, Bungie ominously hints that they are aware of unauthorized tech mites in the crucible.
