The MMO shooter Destiny is getting nine fresh trophies and achievements on PS4 and Xbox One with the “The Rise of Iron” expansion.
For many console gamers, they are simply part of it: Trophies and achievements. The game is only fully completed for them when all unlockable successes have been achieved, and it can then be satisfactorily placed on the shelf. Some players, however, see these trophies merely as a nice extra. Others couldn’t care less.
There are also trophies and achievements in Destiny. New successes were last added with the “The Taken King” expansion. With “Rise of Iron,” nine more accomplishments are being integrated.
Trophy list on PS4 – Achievements on Xbox One
Trophies are categorized into the qualities of Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum, determined by their difficulty and/or the time required. “Rise of Iron” as a DLC has no Platinum trophy, but only Bronze and Silver trophies. Presumably, there isn’t even a gold achievement.
Bronze Trophies:
- Mountaineer: Complete the mission “King of the Mountain.”
- Dominion: Complete the quest “Fame and How to Achieve It.”
- Eye for an Eye: Complete the quest “Kovik’s Sin.”
- Keep Moving Forward: Complete an encounter in the Archon’s Forge.
- Spliced: Complete the raid “Wrath of the Machine.”
Silver Trophies:
- The Whelp: Complete the quest “The Rise of Iron.”
- Scholar of History: Activate all artifacts of the Iron Lords.
- Splicer God: Complete the raid “Wrath of the Machine” on Heroic.

There is also a Hidden Trophy whose quality is currently unknown. According to Bungie, the following is indicated for this trophy:
Sing the Iron Song: Classified.
Presumably, it is your task to ring the bells at Felwinter Peak in the correct order. This is also suggested by the trophy symbol that we will present below. According to Scott Taylor, the executive producer, Felwinter Peak hides a secret that has not yet been mentioned. You will likely receive the trophy when you uncover it.
Here are the trophy symbols listed on the Bungie site. What trophy it is will be stated below. Otherwise, there are no major surprises. You unlock most trophies by completing specific quest missions and mastering the raid. “Scholar of History” will likely take some time as there are eight artifacts of the Iron Lords and you can only obtain one per week.
Will you catch them?
