In the MMO shooter Destiny, the Trials of Osiris start today, June 30th. Which map will the Trials take place on?
Today, on the last day of June 2017, the whistle blows for the Trials of Osiris, the weekly PvP event in Destiny.
However, the Trials of Osiris will not be around for much longer. They will run through the entire month of July and will take place for the last time in Destiny on August 11th.
In Destiny 2, they will return – although not directly at launch. However, it will be easier for solo players to find other Guardians to play Trials together. The Guided Games are not only used for Raids or Nightfall Strikes but also for the Trials.
The Trials of Osiris begin today at 7 PM. They will last until the next Weekly Reset on July 4th. This time, the map Rostlande will be played.
What are the Trials of Osiris?
In the Trials, you engage in PvP combats in the “Elimination” mode. You compete in teams of three and try to fill your scorecard with victories. If the opposing team is completely defeated, you win a round. Fallen team members can be revived. It’s not only about having strong gear but also about communication among the Guardians. A good knowledge of the map is advantageous.
With 5 and 7 victories, there are random rewards from Osiris’s loot pool. Additionally, you should keep an eye on Brother Vance’s bounties for extra rewards. If you’re in top form, you can reach Mercury with a “Flawless” ticket and loot the chest with the fine loot there.
Good luck in the Trials, Guardians.
