In Destiny, today, on March 3rd, the Trials of Osiris begin. On which map do the Trials take place?
Friday is not only Xur day in Destiny, but also the start of the weekly PvP event “Trials of Osiris”. However, this Friday, the Guardians can expect another “highlight”. Bungie will finally announce what the future holds for the MMO shooter. They will publish an article around 6 PM that will appear roughly at the same time as this Osiris article. We will report on this directly – so keep an eye on our Destiny page for that.
Now to the Trials of Osiris: If you have sufficiently exhausted yourself in the current Iron Banner, you can check out the Trials starting at 6 PM today. This event will last until next Tuesday at 10 AM. This time, the map Bannerfall will be played.
What are the Trials of Osiris?
In the Trials, you engage in PvP combat in the “Elimination” mode. You compete in three-player teams and try to fill your scorecard with victories. When the opposing team is completely defeated, you win a round. Fallen team members can be revived. It not only depends on strong equipment but also on communication among the Guardians. A strong knowledge of the map is advantageous.
At 5 and 7 victories, there are random rewards from Osiris’s stash. Additionally, you should keep an eye on Brother Vance’s bounties for extra rewards. If you are in top form, you can reach Mercury with a “flawless” ticket and loot the chest with the fine loot there.
