In the MMO shooter Destiny, today marks the start of the Trials of Osiris. Which map will be played?
Peaceful and joyful Christmas, the festival of love – are you not interested in that? Or do you just want to escape the annoying relatives? Then you can dive back into the Trials starting this evening and travel to the Lighthouse on Mercury over the Christmas holidays.
Because even over Christmas, the weekly PvP event takes place. After all, Xur has to work, but due to the Christmas rush, he forgot the Three of Coins.
The Trials of Osiris start today at 6 PM. They will end next Tuesday at the weekly reset at 10 AM. The map The Anomaly will be played.
By the way: Update 2.5.0 brought some changes to the Crucible, including to the Trials of Osiris:
- The drop rate of cosmetic items in the Trials of Osiris has been increased.
- A problem was fixed that made the Trials shader “The Loyal Few” unavailable.
- Additionally, you can buy Passage Coins for Light Particles from Brother Vance.
What are the Trials of Osiris?
In the Trials, you engage in thrilling PvP battles in the “Elimination” mode. You compete in teams of three against each other and try to fill your scorecard with victories. If the opposing team is completely defeated, you win a round. Fallen team members can be revived. It’s not only about strong gear but also about communication among the Guardians. A thorough knowledge of the map is advantageous.
With 5 and 7 victories there are random rewards from Osiris’s inventory. Additionally, you should keep an eye on Brother Vance’s bounties for extra rewards. If you’re in top form, you can reach Mercury with a “flawless” ticket and loot the chest with fine loot there.
Good luck in the Trials, Guardians.
