In the MMO shooter Destiny, the Trials of Osiris are starting today, on February 10th. On which map will the Trials take place?
Today marks the start of the last Trials of Osiris, which take place with the current meta. For months, special weapons have dominated, especially shotguns like the Matador 64.
On February 14th, just a few hours after these Trials of Osiris conclude, Update 2.5.0.2 will be released. This update will nerf shotguns and aims to ensure that you use less special weapons in PvP. Because after each death, you will lose all your special ammo when you respawn. You can read all the information that was shared in the last livestream about this balance patch here.
The Trials begin today at 6 PM. They will run throughout the weekend until the next weekly reset on Tuesday at 10 AM. These Trials of Osiris will be played on the map Base Delphi.
What are the Trials of Osiris?
In the Trials, you engage in PvP battles in the “Elimination” mode. You compete in three-player teams and try to fill your points card with victories. If the opposing team is completely defeated, you win a round. Fallen team members can be revived. It’s not only about strong equipment, but also about communication among the Guardians. A good knowledge of the map is advantageous.
With 5 and 7 victories, there are random rewards from the loot pool of Osiris. Additionally, you should keep an eye on Brother Vance’s bounties for extra rewards. If you are on top form, you can reach Mercury with a “flawless” ticket and loot the chest with fine loot there.
Good luck in the Trials, Guardians.
