Today, on July 28th, the PvP event “Trials of Osiris” takes place in Destiny . We will tell you on which map you are competing to enter the Lighthouse.
The Trials of Osiris are coming to an end. There will be three more instances of the PvP event. Then it’s over. The Competitive PvP mode in Destiny is coming to an end.
Future of the Trials of Osiris Uncertain
No comparable mode has been announced for Destiny 2 yet. Either Bungie will surprise us with this at the release of Destiny 2 in September, or it is indeed a pause until perhaps a DLC brings a similar PvP mode as Osiris. There are talks that the mode could be called “Trials of the Nine” – but these are still speculations.
Today’s Trials of Osiris are a special case. Because they represent the last chance to participate in the Trials in such a way that a (positive) result still counts for the Book of Triumphs of Destiny. This will close on August 1st. Everything that happens afterward will no longer be recorded in the annals.
You will be playing on the map “The Drifter.”
The Trials begin on Friday at 7:00 PM and last until the next Weekly Reset on Tuesday at 11:00 AM.

What are the Trials of Osiris?
In the Trials, you engage in competitive PvP battles in the “Elimination” mode. This is also referred to as “sweating” in Destiny.
You compete in three-member teams against each other and try to fill your scorecard with victories. If the opposing team is completely defeated, you win a round. Fallen team members can be revived during play.
With 5 and 7 victories, you receive random rewards from the Osiris pool. Additionally, you should keep an eye on Brother Vance’s bounties for extra rewards. If you are in top form or being carried by a streamer, you can reach the Mercury with a “flawless” ticket and loot the chest with fine loot there.
Good luck in the Trials, Guardian.
