Tonight, on December 16th, the Trials of Osiris will start in Destiny. Which map will be played?
Currently, there is competitive multiplayer not only in the Crucible but also on the racetrack. The Dawning brought back Sparrow Racing, and numerous Guardians are now racing against each other on Mercury, Mars, Earth, or Venus.
If you can’t do much with the SRL and are much more into PvP matches with heavy weapons, you’ll have something to do again starting tonight. The Trials of Osiris begin. It starts at 6 PM. They end next Tuesday with the weekly reset. You will play on the map Bannerfall.
Update 2.5.0 brought some changes to the Crucible, including for the Trials of Osiris:
- The drop rate of cosmetic items in the Trials of Osiris has been increased.
- A problem was fixed where the Trials shader “The Loyalist” was not available.
- Additionally, you can buy Passage Coins for Light particles from Brother Vance.

What are the Trials of Osiris?
In the Trials, you engage in thrilling PvP battles in the “Elimination” mode. You compete in teams of three against each other, trying to fill your points card with victories. If the opposing team is completely defeated, you win a round. Fallen team members can be revived. Here, it’s not only about strong equipment but also about communication among the Guardians. A strong knowledge of the map is beneficial.
With 5 and 7 victories, there are random rewards from Osiris’s pool. Also, you should keep an eye on Brother Vance’s bounties for extra rewards. If you are in top form, you can reach Mercury with a “flawless” ticket and loot the chest with the fine loot there.
Good luck in the Trials, Guardians.
