In the MMO shooter Destiny, the weekly PvP event Trials of Osiris is now live. The first rewards are also clear.
The Trials of Osiris started, as announced, at 6 PM in Destiny. The map by Bungie’s grace is Bannerfall. Here, teams will face each other until Tuesday.
The “Boons”, the buffs for the Trials of Osiris, can be purchased directly at the ticket. However, this must happen before the first match.
So far known: The equipment that drops is at the level of the Oryx Raid (normal). So between 300 and 310. Although there are sporadic reports of higher values (above 310).

Apparently, players receive all the same loot or the same loot type at certain “milestones”. Several reported that they received “all boots” or all weapons after a winning match.
It seems that the Trials of Osiris weapons that were found in the database are indeed the items players will receive. Dataminers found 9 weapons – one for each type. The 4 primary weapons were also available in the “Master” form as in Year 1. Each class also has its own armor set consisting of 4 parts. Whether this all holds true remains to be seen.
The first players have flawlessly succeeded in the Trials of Osiris. Again, it was on the Lighthouse on Mercury. Here is one of the “special” rewards that were available there – a master weapon, a scout rifle with increased aim assist and fully automatic, but “only” with a 310 attack value. His two teammates received weapons with 314 and 315 – plus the emblem.
There are also some reports of 310+ exotics from the silver reward. However, some are said to pull “ethereal light” from there – the variance seems to be between elated and utterly disappointed.
You cannot buy items directly from Brother Vance. There are “only” bounties, where three of them provide the “mystery packages” of earlier in bronze, silver, and gold tier. There could certainly be attractive rewards in there. You can sometimes access them without needing to win.

Collect 5 assists – here you get the bronze reward
Revive 5 teammates – another bronze reward
Win 2 rounds in a row – 25 legendary marks
Kill 5 enemies while both teammates are alive – 25 legendary marks
Earn 75 points in the Trials (wins count for 3, losses and ties 1 point per round) – additionally, you must win a round flawlessly without anyone dying – the silver reward
Complete 10 Trials – defeat 75 enemies in the fireteam – and here you get the gold reward
