Destiny: Trials of Osiris – The map on January 27th.

In the MMO shooter Destiny, the Trials of Osiris are taking place today, January 27th. On which map are the Trials happening?

Those who want to win a trip to the Lighthouse are having a hard time these days. The Trials are no longer as well-attended as during the heyday of Destiny. Now only the “sweats” are hanging around there, against whom the average Guardian looks old.

However, this could change within a few weeks. In mid-February, a balance patch will be released, which is supposed to adjust the current meta and bring fresh wind to the Crucible. This might bring more Guardians back to the Trials of Osiris.

The start signal for this week’s Trials will sound today, January 27th, at 6 PM. They will end next Tuesday at the weekly reset. It will be played on the map “Last Exit”. The Crucible map Last Exit is located on Venus and was introduced to Destiny with Rise of Iron.

What are the Trials of Osiris?

In the Trials, you engage in PvP battles in the “Elimination” mode. You compete against each other in teams of three and try to fill your scorecard with wins. If the opposing team is completely defeated, you win a round. Fallen team members can be revived. Here, not only strong gear matters but also communication among the Guardians is essential. Having a good knowledge of the map is advantageous.

With 5 and 7 wins, there are random rewards from the loot pool of Osiris. Additionally, you should keep an eye on Brother Vance’s bounties for extra rewards. If you are on top form, you can reach Mercury with a “flawless” ticket and loot the chest with the fine loot there.
