In the MMO shooter Destiny the Trials of Osiris begin today, on May 26th. Which map will be played?
The Trials, as we know them, will not last too long. When Destiny 2 is released in September 2017, there will be some changes to this weekly PvP event.
It has already been confirmed that they will not go live directly at launch, but shortly thereafter. Moreover, the Trials will no longer be played in 3v3, but in 4v4. Because all PvP modes in Destiny 2 will take place in a “4 vs 4” format.
There are also rumors that the Trials of Osiris will become the Trials of the Nine. However, this has not been officially confirmed yet. The developers will discuss the new trials in detail at a later time.
Today, the Trials of Osiris will definitely start. They begin at 7 PM and last until the weekly reset on Tuesday. This time, the map Borderlands will be played.
What are the Trials of Osiris?
In the Trials, you engage in PvP battles in the “Elimination” mode. You compete in teams of three and try to fill your scorecard with victories. If the opposing team is completely defeated, you win a round. Fallen team members can be revived. Here, not only strong equipment counts, but also communication among the Guardians. A good knowledge of the map is advantageous.
With 5 and 7 victories, there are random rewards from the pool of Osiris. Additionally, you should keep an eye on Brother Vance’s bounties for extra rewards. If you’re in top form, you can reach Mercury with a “flawless” ticket and loot the chest with the fine loot there.
Good luck in the trials, Guardian.
