In the MMO shooter Destiny today, on April 21st, the Trials of Osiris begin. On which map will the Trials take place?
The time of annoying endless matches in the Trials of Osiris should now be a thing of the past. Because yesterday Bungie released the Update 2.6.0.2 which brought a fix for that. The problem occurred in matches with poor latency when a Guardian was killed immediately after being revived. Then the round simply wouldn’t end. Frustrating for those affected.
Bungie wants to closely monitor the changes in these Trials and see if the fix worked.
The Trials of Osiris today start at 7 PM. They will continue until the next weekly reset. That is Tuesday, April 25th, at 11 AM. This time, the maps Bannerfall, Exodus Blue, Rustlands, Widow’s Court, Memento, and Frontier will be played. These maps will rotate.
What are the Trials of Osiris?
In the Trials, you engage in PvP battles in the “Elimination” mode. You compete in three-player teams and try to fill your score card with victories. If the opposing team is completely defeated, you win a round. Fallen team members can be revived. Here, not only strong equipment matters but also communication among Guardians is essential. A thorough knowledge of the map is advantageous.
With 5 and 7 victories, there are random rewards from Osiris’ bounty. Additionally, you should keep an eye on Brother Vance’s bounties for extra rewards. If you are on a roll, you can reach Mercury with a “flawless” ticket and loot the chest with fine loot there.
