In the MMO shooter Destiny, the Trials of Osiris start today, on September 2nd. Afterwards, there will be a break until September 30th.
Friday evening, 7 PM – the whistle sounds for the weekly PvP event called Trials of Osiris. However, today will be the last time the battle cries echo through the Destiny universe for the Trials. Because today, the last Trials before the launch of “The Rise of Iron” begin. So the question arises: On which map will the final Trials take place?
It is not just one map, there are actually three maps: The Anomaly, Asylum, and The Burning Shrine.
What are the Trials of Osiris?
In the Trials, you compete in teams of three against each other. You play in the elimination mode. With victories, you fill your scorecard. The main goal is to travel to Mercury with a “flawless” ticket. Because there you will find a large chest with tasty loot in the Lighthouse.
Many Guardians have never seen this chest themselves, as the scorecard wants to be filled with enough victories. Therefore, for some Guardians, it is still a highlight to make it that far. Some players also like to use the Trials to showcase their skills in livestreams. This weekly PvP event is very popular among streamers.
If you narrowly miss the flawless ticket, you will still not go home empty-handed. You will receive items from Osiris’s inventory at 5 and 7 wins. Also, don’t forget about Brother Vance’s bounties to get additional loot.
The last chance for “Year 2” Trials gear
Since these are the last Trials before RoI, this is your last chance to obtain the current gear. In the future, only “Year 3” Trials items will be available. You can decorate these with ornaments. Starting Friday, September 30th, the new Trials gear will be available.
Note: There will be no Trials of Osiris on PS3 and Xbox 360 today. In the last weeks, the final Trials took place on the last-gen consoles. If you want to play the Trials again in the future, you will need to switch to PS4 and Xbox One.
