In the MMO shooter Destiny, the trials of Osiris commence today, on May 12th. On which map will the Trials be played?
Since Tuesday, the monthly PvP event in Destiny, the May Iron Banner, has been running. This time it features a “mayhem” game mode for the first time, splitting the community: some find it great and are having a blast hurling their light around, while others cannot relate to it at all. They prefer to play more cautiously and tactically in PvP – the opposite of “Mayhem”.
For those who find the Super Spectacle in the Iron Banner overwhelming, you can once again check out the trials of Osiris starting today. This weekly PvP event begins at 7 PM and lasts until the next weekly reset on May 16th at 11 AM. It will be played on the map Pantheon.
What are the Trials of Osiris?
In the Trials, you engage in PvP battles in the “Elimination” mode. You compete in teams of three against each other and try to fill your scorecard with victories. When the opposing team is completely defeated, you win a round. Fallen team members can be revived during this time. This not only requires strong equipment but also good communication among the Guardians. Having a thorough knowledge of the map is advantageous.
At 5 and 7 victories, you receive random rewards from Osiris’ inventory. Additionally, you should keep an eye on Brother Vance’s bounties for extra rewards. If you’re in top form, you can get to Mercury with a “Flawless” ticket and loot the chest with the fine gear there.
