In the MMO shooter Destiny, a video has been released showcasing two weapons of the Dead Orbit. These are available with “The Rise of Iron”.
The autumn expansion is approaching quickly. In two and a half weeks, it will be time to reclaim Felwinter Peak and face all new dangers. Next week, the Update 2.4.0 will be released, bringing changes in preparation for RoI.
Factions bring new items
“Rise of Iron” will bring a variety of innovations – including some that affect the factions. It is known that they will have new items and the light level of their goods will increase. You can read about the new maximum light level in RoI here. Additionally, you will be able to choose your reward package when ranking up with factions, whether you want weapons, armor pieces, or Chromatin items.
Information about the fresh weapons of the factions is still scarce. However, the YouTuber My name is Byf showcases two weapons of the Dead Orbit in the video, specifically praising the shotgun “Last-Ditch 001”. He recorded the video during Gamescom:
Last-Ditch 001 is said to be “incredibly good”. In terms of archetype, the shotgun is supposed to correspond to the Partycrasher +1 – powerful damage, strong range. And this is despite not having any perks unlocked yet. Here’s a screenshot of it:
As a primary weapon, he uses the auto rifle Extremophile 011. This weapon has been modified by outstanding technicians and specialists of the Dead Orbit – according to the flavor text. Here’s a screenshot:
Additionally, the strong weapon 77 Wizard is briefly seen at the beginning of the video. This is a “Year 1” fusion rifle that apparently comes into Year 3. “Year 3” items are marked with a white axe in the upper right corner of the item symbol.
