In Destiny there are new clues about a collection edition called “Destiny: The Collection.”
Update: The collection edition is now confirmed. There is also a trailer for it:
Destiny: The Collection costs 60 dollars, releases on September 20, 2016, and includes the base game, the two expansions “The Dark Below” and “House of Wolves”, “The Taken King”, and “Rise of Iron”.
Players who purchase Destiny: The Collection digitally before September 20 can play all the content – except for “Rise of Iron” – immediately.

Original announcement:
Just about two weeks ago, screenshots of an interesting offer appeared out of nowhere on Amazon UK. These showed both a PS4 and an Xbox One version of “Destiny: The Collection” for a price of 50 British pounds, which is approximately 60 euros.
Due to the name, one could conclude that it was likely a collection edition with the base game and all previous expansions of Destiny. However, this was speculative. The authenticity of these screenshots was also partly questioned. However, further hints have now emerged.
The Collection is supposed to include everything so far and “Rise of Iron”
Fresh from the Xbox Store come more screenshots taken by Guardians that are now on reddit. According to these images, the box indeed includes the base game and all previous expansions. But also “Rise of Iron”:
This screenshot from the Xbox app reached us from our community. It confirms the contents of the upper image:
With the collection edition, there is also a level 40 character boost, so you can jump right into the new content. The pre-order bonuses, the Iron Gjallarhorn and the “Iron Gjallarwing” Sparrow, are also included. The content is expected to be available from September 20, 2016.
And there are now contradictions regarding this date. Because according to the screenshot of the Amazon offers, The Collection is supposed to be released on August 18 – coinciding with Gamescom. Therefore, we also assumed that if this screenshot was real, the collection edition would be released without “Rise of Iron”. After all, the autumn expansion alone costs 30 euros, so a total package with all expansions for just under 60 euros would be a real bargain.
We will likely learn more about this in the coming days. Bungie is set to make some big announcements at Gamescom in Cologne. A PvP feature that Guardians have long been waiting for will be revealed.
