The Claw of the Soul Reaver is probably not known to every Guardian. You obtain it through the Prison of Elders, from reward packages from the House of Judgement. This auto rifle comes from the archetype with the lowest impact and the highest fire rate. Aim assist (80) and magazine size are excellent, but the range and stability leave much to be desired:
However, you can enhance stability with perks like Perfect Balance and Balance Modulation. Snapshot, Persistence, or Smallbore are also acceptable perks.
The Claw of the Soul Reaver has an extremely good time-to-kill solely with body shots: You need 17 body shots, which takes only 1.07s. With 13 crit shots and one body shot, the TTK is 0.87. A critical hit deals 15 damage, and a body shot 12 damage.
