An invasion of the Cabal and a destruction of the Tower in Destiny 2? Sweeper Bot isn’t interested in that!
The Sweeper Bot is the friendly cleaning robot who has been diligently working in the Tower for years. He has long achieved cult status in the community. Bungie knows this and caused cheers at the gameplay premiere of Destiny 2 when the robot was briefly on screen. Apparently, he survived the Cabal attack and continues to clean undeterred.
Bungie even released a wallpaper featuring the Sweeper Bot in Destiny 2:
In this week’s “Video of the Week” competition, a short video featuring the iconic Sweeper Bot took the win. It seems that the chaos caused by Ghaul is not to his liking, so he takes on the new threat personally!
This video by Nucleonic may not be the highest quality you have ever seen, but it has a certain charm. At least it made it to Video of the Week:
