In Destiny, maintenance work is taking place today, on June 20th. Players may experience the LOGANBERRY error code.
A brief reminder to all Guardians planning to spend their evening in the MMO shooter: there may be minor issues.
- Starting at 5 PM our time, Bungie will conduct server maintenance.
- By 11 PM, the work should be completed.
No downtime is planned – so you can play as usual. However, Bungie states that you should not be removed from your activities – this is not completely excluded.
Towards the end of the maintenance work, LOGANBERRY error codes may occur, according to Bungie. These could happen to some players. If you are removed from the game due to this error, you should restart Destiny and log in again normally.
No changes to game content or gameplay are expected during this maintenance work.
Maintenance in Destiny 1
In recent weeks and months, Bungie has repeatedly emphasized that they will continue to support Destiny 1 – even after the launch of Destiny 2 on September 6, 2017.
The Age of Triumph was the last content delivery, but server work will continue in the future – or when significant bugs or issues arise. Players should have the opportunity to return to the familiar worlds of Destiny 1 indefinitely.
Recently, the developers announced that currently there are no more sandbox adjustments planned. In other words, the current meta in Destiny 1 will not change. Hand cannons, the Last Word, and the MIDA Multi-Tool will remain the top weapons in PvP.
The full focus is now on Destiny 2.
