In the MMO shooter Destiny , players have discovered a new secret in the daily mission “Paradox.” This was already suspected.
Since the Black Spindle was found on a side path of a daily heroic story mission, the community has been waiting for certain missions to become “Daily.” They are on a treasure hunt.
One of the big favorites for a secret was tackled for the first time today: “Paradox.” And as was immediately suspected, it indeed holds a secret.
The mission leads to the first raid, in The Glass Vault. Players believed weeks ago that some hint regarding the exotic weapon “No Time to Explain” or even the “Sleeper Simulant” might be hidden here.
However, this time, there is no great exotic waiting for players, but there are dead ghosts, Grimoire cards, and a special ghost shell that can be exchanged for some reputation with the Future War Cult.
To reach the hidden conclusion part of the mission where the reward is given, a significant time investment is required. Players must find 3 dead ghosts in this order, which are also hidden. Here is the first:
This is the second, it is located on the so-called “Ghost Flower Path”:
And here is the third ghost, which appears after the boss when you walk towards the jumping puzzle.
If these 3 ghosts are found in the correct order, (you must not wipe in a Darkness zone), players may find an ultra-boss “Rotten Scion” and a secret chest at the very end:
So there is no exotic weapon or anything really fantastic this time. However, some hopefuls suspect that completing this task and handing in the ghost might trigger something special, sometime in the distant future. That this step is needed for a bigger quest in Destiny: We do not know at the moment.
If one were to express it in an exaggerated way, one could say: There is now the secret sixth chest in the Glass Vault finally … but well. The train has probably left.
Paradox is the daily heroic mission until tomorrow at 11:00 AM. After that, treasure hunters will have to wait until it comes up again.
