How is our tier list structured? In our tier list, we show you the rankings of all available Guardians that you can collect in Destiny: Rising. Currently, only 13 characters are in circulation, but the longer time passes in the shooter, the more will follow.
The tier list is based on our own experiences and observations, but also on extensive research.
We provide you with two tables in our overview with the respective rankings for PvE and PvP, as well as a detailed description of the S-ranks (the best characters in the game). This way, you will know why they are worth more compared to alternatives.

Tan-2
What makes Tan-2 so good in PvE? Tan-2 is the only 5-star supporter and through his kits you can quickly switch between DPS and support. This makes him versatile. As for his weapons, you either use a scout or sniper rifle and benefit from relaxed and stress-free long-range combat.
Gwynn
What makes Gwynn so good in PvE? Gwynn is one of the best Guardians when it comes to controlling large groups of enemies thanks to her Void abilities. She is extremely survivable through Soul Assault because she can restore her health. Her weapon setup of dual pistols and shotgun benefits especially aggressive players who like to dive into the fray.
Jolder
What makes Jolder so good in PvE? Jolder is one of the best tanks in the game and can effectively survive without support due to her Rage Stacks. With her Ursa Major, she can also control and defend objectives without breaking a sweat. In a team with Tan-2, she can, when used correctly, appear almost unbeatable.
Umeko
What makes Umeko so good in PvE? Umeko has the ability not only to deal damage but also to debuff enemies. Her low cooldowns allow her to do this effectively, but her true strength can only be unleashed when you master her timings. She is a powerful Guardian but difficult to master.
Estela
What makes Estela so good in PvE? Estela shines with her ultimate because she can summon beings that can attack and distract enemies. This makes her particularly suitable for those who prefer a safe playstyle, as direct confrontation with enemies is not necessary.
