Destiny Rising: Best Artifacts for Every Guardian in PvE and PvP

Destiny: Rising has a special mechanic to make your Guardians stronger – the Artifacts. There are many that you can find, but where do you start looking and which ones should you socket into your characters? We will show you in the list.

What are Artifacts? In order for your Guardians to gain power, you need Artifacts that you socket into your build. These Artifacts increase your chances of survival, defense, and can drastically improve your playstyle.

So, if you want to play tough endgame content or tear apart your enemies in PvP, you must find and equip the best of the necessary Artifacts for your Guardians. However, caution is advised when selecting, as every Guardian functions differently and has restrictions that can make some Artifacts redundant.

Where do I find Artifacts? There are three locations where you can effectively get Artifacts:

  • Singularity: Chaos
    • Reach Chapter 2–1 and complete the Realm of IX.
  • Choice Engrams
    • Collect Choice Engrams from the Realm of IX.
    • However, you can also obtain Legendary Artifact Choice Engrams if you play Singularity: Order IV.
    • Mythic Artifact Choice Engrams can also be obtained, but you will only find them starting from Singularity: Order V or higher.
      • All of these Engrams contain Artifacts.
  • Artifact Institute Bundles
    • In the Artifact Institute, you can purchase a variety of bundles for Glimmer. These packages have Artifacts but can only be purchased once each. Whether your limit will be raised in the future is currently uncertain.
