In Destiny, a lot will change for the PS3 and Xbox 360 Guardians in August – including the Triumph Moments.
Currently, players can obtain the “Year 2” Triumph Moments in Bungie’s MMO shooter. Guardians deal with them in various ways: Many have already completed them, some are indifferent, others are currently eagerly hunting for them, and still others think: “Oh, I’ll take it easy, there’s plenty of time until September 20th.”
If you are facing the darkness on the last-gen consoles, however, you have less time available: For a significant cut will take place starting August 16th.
From mid-August, Destiny changes on PS3 and Xbox 360
Once you have mastered all the Triumph Moments, you will receive a discount code for a special T-shirt in the Bungie Store, which can only be obtained at a horrendous price without this code.
If you play on the old consoles, you have until August 16th at 11 AM to get this nice garment at a reduced price. Because after that you will no longer have access to your character data on bungie.net. If you receive the code before this date, it is valid until October 4th – however, you will not be able to see it on the Bungie page anymore.
Completing the seal book on last-gen will also grant you the code if you perform an account import on PS4 or Xbox One before October 4th. You can find more information about the T-shirt on the official Bungie page.
The in-game rewards of the “Year 2” Triumph Moments can be obtained on PS3 and Xbox 360 until September 20th.
Additionally, the events and activities will change for old-gen users starting in August:
- Activities such as Iron Banner and the Trials of Osiris will be available to players with old consoles until the end of August 2016. After that, they will no longer be available.
- Starting August 16th, you can no longer buy Silver.
- If you still have Silver in your account after August 16th, you can still spend it.
