In the MMO shooter Destiny the Trials of Osiris are taking place again this weekend. It starts on Friday, April 22.
The Trials of Osiris are the weekly PvP event in Destiny. The monthly event is the Iron Banner, which starts next Tuesday. Osiris begins on Friday, April 22, at 7:00 PM. It runs until Tuesday at 11.
Today, the Trials of Osiris is celebrating Earth Day with a rotation of maps set on Earth. So, instead of the usual single map, there will be several. According to Guardians, the maps include Frontier, Exodus Blue, The Rustlands, Bannerfall, Widow’s Court, Twilight Gap, and Memento.

Players compete in teams of 3 in Best-of-9 matches. The first to win 5 rounds wins the game. The mode is “Elimination”; the goal is to defeat all 3 opponents at the same time – this makes reviving your teammates and preventing your opponents’ revives so important.
The goal is to have 9 victories on your card, the passage, before recording a loss. Then the card is “flawless” and you receive special rewards on Mercury. If you have 3 losses on the card, you are eliminated and have to “buy back in,” starting over with a new passage.
Most rewards come from bounties, which you can collect from Brother Vance. With 5 and 7 victories, you will also receive a randomly determined weapon (7) and an armor piece (at 5 victories). Before the April update, the rewards for 5 and 7 victories were always fixed, now they are determined randomly.
Good luck out there, Guardians. And remember to recycle your ammunition. After all, it’s Earth Day. This is especially important for Guardians since they are recycled themselves.
