The MMO shooter Destiny will not receive a graphic patch at the launch of the PS4 Pro in November. However, this is not ruled out for the future.
November 10, 2016, is the release date for the PS4 Pro. This more powerful PlayStation 4 is expected to deliver a more intense gaming experience thanks to enhanced graphics. You can read what is included in the Pro version here.
Several already released games will receive a free graphic update, allowing you to play them in all their glory on the new console, such as Uncharted 4.
Whether Destiny will also receive enhanced graphics in the future is still uncertain. But a possible update should definitely not be expected too soon.
Bungie is looking into it
In an interview with GameSpot, Bungie states that there will be no “PS4 Pro” support for “Rise of Iron”. When asked if Pro support would come in the future, they said that there is nothing to announce today, but they will definitely look into it.
This sounds like PS4 guardians shouldn’t expect it too soon. Other Activision games will receive updates directly at the launch of the PS4 Pro: Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Modern Warfare Remastered, and Call of Duty: Black Ops III.
Currently, Bungie is facing different graphic issues than a potential Pro support. Since update 2.4.0, guardians have been complaining about a “grain effect” in the game. This significantly affects the gaming experience in some situations. With the launch of “The Rise of Iron Lords” approaching in just a few days, a hotfix should be provided quickly, so that nothing stands in the way of clear vision in future adventures.
In the future, not only graphics may be upgraded, but also the old raids in Destiny.
