In Destiny , we show you how to take down the Witch Kagoor in just a few seconds solo.
Currently, the Witch Kagoor greets you when you use the antiquated rune in Oryx’s courtyard. She never comes alone: Kagoor always has a loyal Ogre by her side, who protects her with his life.
Experienced Guardians are already familiar with this “Tier 3” boss’s mechanics: First, take out the Malicious Eyes to draw the Ogre’s wrath, then take down the Ogre, and finally unleash everything on the Witch. After a short time, Kagoor summons the Ogre again, and the fun starts all over – until Kagoor is laid low. Meanwhile, you take out the adds.
If you are part of a fireteam, this boss shouldn’t pose too much of a challenge. The user villiansv will show you how to take down Kagoor solo, and in an insane time.
Hunting Witches with the Sword
The demonstrated method works with all classes, as you only need certain weapons. A high power level, close to the maximum, is also recommended.
So prepare yourself:
- Primary Weapon: Equip a powerful hand cannon or a scout rifle with punch, so that you can ideally take down the eyes with a single shot.
- Special Weapon: Choose a sniper rifle with high impact. In the video, the Empty Gaze is used.
- Heavy Weapon: Here, choose a sword – preferably the exotic Reaper or Darkdrinker. However, the method also works with legendary swords.
Here’s what to do:
- First, position yourself behind and slightly to the left of the left rock to be protected from enemy fire. The exact position can be seen in the video.
- Then, destroy three Malicious Eyes nearby, as the Ogre’s wrath can stack up to three times. This way, you can deal more damage to the Ogre.
- Now snipe the Ogre and kill him with a few shots. To circumvent the sniper’s reload time, quickly switch to the primary weapon and finish off the Ogre.
- Now run in with the sword to Kagoor and take her down with powerful strikes. If you are at light level 335, she can already be taken down with two strikes from the Reaper or Darkdrinker.
