In the MMO shooter Destiny, you can open the gates to Felwinter Peak.
The “The Rise of Iron” expansion for Destiny is full of secrets. Many have already been discovered and deciphered, such as possibly the largest and most complex puzzle in RoI: The path to the exotic raid pulse rifle, Outbreak Prime.
In addition to this big secret, there are many more small ones, like the Song of the Bells in the Iron Temple. This social space is full of mysteries, as is the following, which is related to the Isenfyre Token.
How to Obtain the Isenfyre Token
The Isenfyre Token is a consumable item that can be obtained in the new raid “Wrath of the Machine”. According to reports, the item has only been available since the second week after the release of RoI and drops when you defeat the final boss in the raid. It is suspected that this item may not be available every week – however, this will only be shown in the future.
The description of the Isenfyre Token reads: “Prove your honor in the Iron Temple.” And you can do this in an amusing way.
Rise into the Air and Open the Gates
Once you have the token in your inventory, fly directly to the Iron Temple. In front of the building, there is a large bonfire where you bring the item. There you can use the Isenfyre Token. It will then launch you into the air, and you will land on the tower by the bridge, where there is also an inactive SIVA bundle:
But the gates will not open yet. Now jump down on the other side of the tower, approach the gate, and open it for all present guardians. Now you and the other players wandering around Felwinter Peak can explore the rest of the mountain, which you already know from the first RoI story mission.
Notes:
- Once you use the Isenfyre Token, it will disappear from your inventory. Therefore, use it wisely.
- It is still unknown how often the item can be obtained. The future will tell.
- According to reports, other guardians in the Iron Temple can also use the bonfire you activated to reach the tower. So don’t be surprised if you suddenly get visitors up there.
