In Destiny a fan has created the shooter as a playable 2D demake. The graphics surely won’t impress anyone in 2016 – but that’s not what this is about.
The Destiny fan Brenton “Helix3333” Whitwell celebrated Bungie Day in a very special way: He released a “new” version of Bungie’s MMO shooter, which takes place in a 2D world and is completely playable.
The game is called “Project Tiger”, in which you play as a Titan exploring Earth, battling enemies, and occasionally facing off against a major Servitor, Sepiks Primus, as a boss character. You’ll always have to run to the right to progress. This brings back memories of countless hours spent with the good old Game Boy. In the following video, you can check out the fun:
