In the MMO shooter Destiny , the Black Spindle has created a hype. But how good is the exotic sniper rifle in Destiny? Is it worth it?
The Black Spindle got everyone excited two weeks ago. An exotic sniper rifle that was not in the database was suddenly found. Today we will look at what the weapon can do and whether it can really take over the function of “Black Hammer”. The legendary raid sniper was considered by many the top PvE special weapon in year 1.
Where can I find the Black Spindle?
The Black Spindle is only available if a very specific mission is the daily story mission: Lost to Light. You can read everything else in this article. We have reported here about the special characteristics that make the Black Spindle such a coveted item for infusion.
What makes the Black Spindle so special?
The Black Spindle deals solar damage and has the following two perks:
White Nail – With three consecutive precision hits, your reserve magazine is refilled.
Mulligan – Missed shots have a chance to return the ammunition directly to the magazine.
With “White Nail”, you can just stay on the weak spot with stationary targets (certain bosses or tanks, for example) and fire the magazine empty without reloading. Mulligan only triggers occasionally and increases the fault tolerance of the weapon.
What is special about the Spindle: It is available with a 310 attack value right after completion!
Is the Black Spindle like Black Hammer in year 1 of Destiny?
The Black Hammer from year 1 could do just that, but even more. Because with it, you could fire indefinitely, the bullets were not taken from the reserve magazine, but regenerated (like with Icebreaker, only much faster). The times of the Black Hammer are gone forever, the entire perk “White Nail” has been nerfed.
However, the Black Spindle is still an excellent choice for dealing maximum damage against “stationary enemies” if players can string together these precision hits.
Is the Black Spindle good?
Yes, the Black Spindle is very good in PvE in the constellations when you can play more or less stationary. Whenever precision hits are guaranteed and you can save yourself the reload, “a damage loss”, the weapon shines.
Thanks to these situations, the Black Spindle is considered an excellent exotic weapon in Destiny, which is definitely worth the exotic slot, especially when solar damage is required. Even if there is strong competition among the legendary weapons.
In PvP, the properties of the weapon actually do not help much, as you should look for a more specialized weapon. Many have found enjoyment in the sniper Beyond.
